Project Executive – Atlanta, GA
A nationally recognized ENR Top General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead and expand its presence in the Atlanta market. This individual will play a critical leadership role in driving project delivery, developing client relationships, and mentoring high-performing teams across a diverse portfolio including Healthcare, Sports & Recreation, Higher Education, K-12, Aviation, Municipal/Government, and Mission Critical/Data Centers.
This is a highly visible leadership position with direct impact on regional growth, operational excellence, and long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight of multiple large-scale projects and project teams from preconstruction through closeout
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring strong relationships and repeat business
- Lead business development efforts, including client engagement, pursuit strategy, and contract negotiations
- Partner with preconstruction teams on budgeting, scheduling, and risk analysis
- Ensure successful project execution with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and profitability
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and emerging leaders within the organization
- Drive accountability across project teams, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals
- Collaborate with regional leadership to support strategic growth initiatives in the Atlanta market
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong track record in a General Contractor environment
- Proven leadership experience overseeing multiple complex projects or large programs ($50M–$300M+)
- Diverse project experience in one or more of the following sectors: Healthcare, Sports & Recreation, Higher Education, K-12, Aviation, Municipal/Government, and Mission Critical/Data Centers.
- Strong business acumen with experience in client development and contract negotiations
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage risk, and drive project success at a high level
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
