Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Product and Packaging Designer, located in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities include designing innovative product concepts as well as functional and visually appealing packaging solutions. The Product and Packaging Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with branding and market trends, prepare presentations and prototypes, and oversee production processes to ensure design specifications are met. Additional day-to-day tasks include contributing to brainstorming sessions and keeping designs aligned with current consumer demands.
Qualifications
- Experience in Product Design, Packaging Design, and Graphic Design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D Design software
- Understanding of materials, production processes, and sustainable design principles
- Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and ability to innovate based on market trends
- Team collaboration skills and ability to adapt designs to meet cross-departmental objectives
- Time management skills to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Experience in consumer goods, health & beauty, or fashion accessories is a plus
