The Role
The Graphic Designer will bring Hammitt’s marketing, eCommerce, and brand ideas to life through elevated, compelling visual design. The ideal candidate has refined taste, a sharp eye for layout and typography, excellent photo retouching skills, and the ability to translate written or verbal direction into polished creative that supports both brand storytelling and business performance. This is a hands-on design role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and is comfortable supporting a wide range of creative needs, including email campaigns, paid social ads, site banners, seasonal catalogs, retail signage, product imagery, and AI-assisted lifestyle image development. This person should be skilled across the full design process, from concept through final deliverable, while maintaining brand integrity and visual consistency.
Job Summary
- Create elevated visual assets across DTC, wholesale, eCommerce, retail, social, email, paid media, and print channels.
- Retouch, edit, resize, and prepare lifestyle and product imagery for web, email, social, paid media, PDPs, and catalogs.
- Design creative for email campaigns, Klaviyo flows, paid digital advertising, website banners, homepage/collection pages, evergreen content, and promotional moments.
- Support social media creative, including original content concepts, platform-specific assets, story/post templates, graphics, icons, and illustrations - while maintaining brand integrity.
- Develop product mockups, seasonal sales guides, product pages, detail sheets, catalogs, and branded collateral.
- Create and update branding, packaging, retail store signage, posters, window displays, price cards, business cards, letterhead, and other print collateral.
- Use AI tools to create fresh variations and iterations of lifestyle imagery from product imagery; experience with Artlist, Claude, and/or Adobe Generative AI is a plus.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, apply feedback from multiple stakeholders, and deliver polished, well-organized creative.
- Demonstrate sound business judgment, resourcefulness, technical skill, and the ability to support additional creative needs.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- 2+ years experience in graphic design, 1-2 years experience in house for DTC, fashion retail or premium consumer brands
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, visual communications, or a related discipline preferred; or equivalent experience
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Capture One and/or Lightroom
- Shopify and Klaviyo familiarity is a plus
- Strong portfolio showcasing work across digital ads, email, eCommerce, social, photo retouching, and/or brand collateral
- Comfortable receiving, interpreting, and applying feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Highly detail-oriented with clear communication and organizational skills
- Elevated taste level with a strong understanding of brand representation and visual consistency
- A self-starter mindset with curiosity and a drive to improve creative processes and bring fresh ideas forward
- Collaborative team player that takes initiative, prioritizes, and thrives in a dynamic, quickly-changing environment
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, you will play a key role in bringing Hammitt’s brand story to life across digital, print, retail, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer channels. We are looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented designer with strong execution skills, and the ability to translate ideas into polished visual assets that drive engagement and support business growth. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to maintain brand integrity, create compelling customer-facing creative, and help elevate the visual future of a growing luxury brand.
