Position Overview
The Merchandising team is seeking a Product Design Intern to support the creative development and execution of apparel, accessories, packaging, and promotional merchandise initiatives across the organization. The Product Design Intern will collaborate closely with internal creative teams, production partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to help bring product concepts to life from ideation through execution.
The internship offers hands-on exposure to both the creative and commercial sides of the music and entertainment industry, requiring a strong balance of design sensibility, organization, and execution. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are passionate about visual storytelling, collaborative creative development, and contributing to projects in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with in-person collaboration 3 days per week and remote work 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing graphics for apparel, accessories, packaging, and promotional materials
- Create mockups, tech-packs, and presentation decks for internal reviews and vendor submissions
- Organize and maintain design asset files and production references
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the creative direction of product collections
- Support the team with various design-related tasks and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design (2D & 3D), Visual Arts, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong visual and typographic skills
- Portfolio showcasing relevant design work

Compensation
This role is paid on an hourly basis, with up to 35 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is $17.81 per hour, in accordance with the Santa Monica minimum wage at the time of posting. This role does not include additional benefits or other compensatory components.
