The CSR will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time remote or hybrid role for a Personal Account Manager. The Personal Account Manager will be responsible for managing/servicing personal insurance accounts, providing excellent customer service to clients, and communicating with internal stakeholders. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Essential Duties
- Retain Personal Lines accounts assigned.
- Promote and enhance the reputation of the agency.
- Attend all meetings on time.
- Respond to client and company inquiries and requests.
- Complete applications, invoices, endorsements, change requests, etc.
- Conduct Annual Account Review.
- Secure underwriting information.
- Prepare submissions.
- Reach agreement with client and obtain signed documents to place coverage and collect premium when necessary.
- Prepare renewal proposals as necessary.
- Create follow-up for quarterly follow-up calls on accounts.
- Maintain and/or facilitate the maintenance of accurate records.
- Provide required reports on a timely basis.
- Maintain Expiration list.
- Rate and check Policies
Skills
Agents P&C license, and any other licenses deemed necessary:
- Account Management and Customer Service skills
- Experience in the insurance industry
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in commercial insurance
- Experience in EPIC, Microsoft Office 365
- Understanding of coverages, underwriting, rating, claims, premium, billing, collection and financing.
- Mastery of English of basic written and oral communications skills.
- Solid Math skills.
- High level of accuracy.
- Use of Outlook, Excel, Adobe and Insurance Software Programs. EPIC a plus.
- Ability to quickly develop adequate skills to utilize manual or computerized systems essential to perform duties.
- Continued education in technical insurance knowledge through agency-approved courses (CIC, CISR, etc.) or programs.
- Word processing and computer keyboard skills
- Setup and maintain Customers files in Agency Management System according to agency procedures.
- Assist client with claims.
- May assist in on the job training of other personnel.
- May manage special projects or programs.
- Any other work or job that is requested by the President or supervisor that deems necessary.
Salary subject to experience. Minimum 3 years of Insurance Experience.
