Role Overview
The Customer Outreach Associate plays a central role in supporting the TechHouse customer lifecycle through relationship‑based outreach and coordination. This role focuses on building and maintaining meaningful connections with people who have engaged with TechHouse through events, referrals, prior conversations, or earlier outreach.
You will represent TechHouse in both virtual and in‑person settings, listening carefully to understand context, needs, and timing. Many relationships begin with genuine, in‑person conversations at conferences or community events and continue through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
This role supports progression through the customer lifecycle by maintaining continuity, coordinating next steps, and working closely with consulting, sales engineering, and operations teammates as opportunities develop.
Work Environment & Commitment
This is a full-time role that requires focus and commitment during standard work hours. You can work from:
- Your home office (as long as it meets professional standards for reliability and confidentiality)
- A co-working space in your area provided by TechHouse, if one is available that meets our requirements. We’ll explore options together, but availability may vary by location.
Travel: Occasional travel is required for trade shows, events and meetings.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with prospects, referral partners, and community contacts who have engaged with TechHouse
- Represent TechHouse at select trade shows and community events, participating in thoughtful, listening‑focused conversations and strengthening connection over time
- Carry in‑person and virtual conversations forward through timely, personal follow‑up by phone, email, or video
- Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer context, needs, priorities, and timing
- Work with consultants and sales engineers to clarify scope, align solutions, and determine appropriate next steps
- Create and manage standard quotes using established offerings and pricing guidance
- Track contacts, activities, and opportunities accurately in the CRM so context and progress are visible to the broader team
- Coordinate introductions and handoffs between customers, consultants, and operations team members as opportunities move forward
- Support the customer lifecycle by ensuring follow‑up, clarity, and continuity from initial engagement through next steps and onboarding
- Follow documented outreach, CRM, and collaboration processes to support consistency and reliability
Skills & Experience
Required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfort building rapport with new people in both in‑person and virtual settings
- Organized approach to follow‑up, coordination, and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing conversations at different stages
- Comfort working with CRM systems, email, and everyday productivity tools
Nice to Have
- Experience in customer outreach, relationship development, or account coordination
- Experience representing an organization at events, trade shows, or community gatherings
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Sales or similar CRM platforms
- Experience working in professional services, technology, or consultative environments
