Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Business Analyst. Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, including workflows, data models, and system layouts
- Design and document system processes, reporting structures, and user interface requirements
- Analyze system logic and outline technical requirements, including integrations and data flow
- Support testing efforts by creating test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing activities
- Assist in developing documentation, training materials, and end-user guides
- Provide hands-on support to users, helping troubleshoot system-related issues and improve daily workflows
- Partner with leadership and project teams to ensure successful delivery of enhancements and initiatives
- Maintain a strong understanding of operational processes and contribute to ongoing improvements
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex processes
- Experience documenting business or system requirements (internships or early career experience welcome)
- Ability to troubleshoot system or transaction issues and identify root causes
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-focused environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exposure to systems, data analysis, or process improvement is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
