Role Description
In the Staff Accounting on site role, you will conduct financial modeling on a range of financial products and measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additional duties include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. Forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management will be some of your focus areas as a business partner on this dynamic team. As the Staff Accountant, your main duties will include supporting strategic and financial planning methods, building long-range operating plans to support business imperatives and developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources every quarter are consumed at maximum effectiveness. Additional aspects of this role consist of enhancing our strong data-driven planning process and improve monthly and quarterly reporting. In this role, you will be directly involved in the coordination of various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks), while providing strategic analyses and recommendations. You will provide variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments.
Qualifications
- Experience in cost accounting or related field
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of GAAP principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
