Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential sellers to acquire pre-owned vehicles through in-person visits, online inquiries, and phone calls
- Accurately appraise vehicles based on current market conditions and dealership standards
- Build rapport with customers to create a positive, transparent selling experience
- Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to ensure smooth vehicle intake
- Maintain accurate records of appraisals, purchases, and customer interactions
- Meet or exceed vehicle acquisition goals and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive or a related customer-facing role
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Ability to assess vehicle condition — body, cosmetic, and mechanical
- Highly coachable with a growth mindset and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
