A leading retail brand is seeking a highly skilled Push & SMS Marketing Specialist
This individual will assume day-to-day ownership of Push and SMS planning, execution, optimization, and reporting across two of the company's most important customer engagement channels.
This role is ideal for a data-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and has hands-on experience managing mobile messaging programs at scale. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Analytics, and CRM teams to deliver high-impact campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Content Planning
- Own the Push Notification and SMS content calendars, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, product launches, promotions, loyalty initiatives, and seasonal campaigns.
- Develop and communicate channel-specific content direction to internal stakeholders and creative teams.
- Identify content gaps and recommend innovative messaging opportunities that increase customer engagement and channel performance.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with audience segmentation strategies, brand standards, and business objectives.
Campaign Execution & Quality Assurance
- Review campaign content, creative assets, links, targeting, and messaging for accuracy prior to deployment.
- Conduct comprehensive QA testing to ensure flawless customer-facing execution.
- Monitor live campaign launches, validate rendering and functionality, and quickly resolve any issues that arise.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain efficient workflows and timely delivery of campaigns.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze campaign performance metrics including click-through rates, conversion rates, engagement, and revenue contribution.
- Leverage historical data and testing results to recommend improvements in messaging, creative, audience segmentation, and send strategy.
- Provide actionable insights that influence campaign planning and optimization efforts.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
Budget Management
- Manage SMS budget allocation and documentation.
- Track invoices and facilitate approval workflows.
- Monitor spending and identify opportunities for efficiency and optimization.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Push Notification and SMS marketing programs.
- Strong experience with mobile messaging strategy, audience segmentation, campaign execution, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience working within fast-paced retail, eCommerce, or consumer-facing marketing environments.
- Experience using platforms such as:
- Attentive
- Smartsheet
- Adobe Workfront
- ServiceNow
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience managing campaign budgets and related documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting high-volume promotional calendars.
- Background in CRM, retention marketing, lifecycle marketing, or digital marketing channels.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations teams.
- Familiarity with experimentation, A/B testing, and optimization methodologies.
