Bookkeeping Client Manager
Pathway CPA Group | Remote | Full-Time
Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience
Pathway CPA Group is a boutique CPA and advisory firm serving business owners through monthly bookkeeping, tax management, and CFO advisory services.
We believe strong financial support starts with strong relationships. Our clients are not looking for a firm that simply categorizes transactions and sends reports. They are looking for a team that understands their business, communicates clearly, and helps them feel confident in their numbers.
We bring that same people-focused approach to our internal team. We value excellence, ownership, clear communication, and dependability, while also recognizing that work is only one part of a person’s full life. We care about doing great work, serving people well, and creating a healthy team environment where people can grow and thrive.
We are hiring a Bookkeeping Client Manager to serve as the primary relationship contact for our monthly bookkeeping clients.
This is a full-time, fully remote role for someone who enjoys working with people, understands financial statements, communicates clearly, and has experience managing or supporting a book of clients in a public accounting or bookkeeping firm environment.
What This Role Looks Like
You will be the front-facing relationship manager for assigned bookkeeping clients. You will meet with clients monthly, review their financial statements, answer questions, respond to client communication through our portal, and collaborate with our internal bookkeeping and quality control teams.
This is not a traditional heads-down bookkeeping role. Our production bookkeepers handle much of the recurring weekly bookkeeping, and our quality control reviewers review month-end financial statements. However, this role does require strong QuickBooks Online skills. You will be in QuickBooks regularly to research questions, support the team, assist with cleanup, and help resolve client-specific issues.
During new client onboarding, you will be more hands-on as you help gather information, review bank and credit card connections, work through setup questions, coordinate cleanup items, and help move the client into a steady monthly maintenance process.
