About the Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced 2D Game Animator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality animations, visual effects, and in-game presentations for slot games. You should be able to work independently while collaborating closely with artists, designers, and developers.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D animations for slot games, including characters, UI elements, symbols, and visual effects.
- Design and animate assets using Spine.
- Create and implement 2D visual effects (VFX) for gameplay, UI interactions, and special features.
- Integrate, optimize, and maintain animations and effects within Unity.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure smooth implementation and consistency.
- Create engaging animation sequences, transitions, win presentations, and special effects to enhance player experience.
- Maintain animation quality and performance standards across multiple projects.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to improve production efficiency and accelerate creative workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the game industry.
- Successfully shipped at least one game title.
- Strong proficiency in Spine animation.
- Strong experience with Unity, including animation integration and Unity VFX/Particle Systems.
- Experience creating 2D visual effects (VFX) for games.
- Proficient in Photoshop and Figma.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, motion, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools and workflows for content creation and production efficiency.
- Chinese mandarin fluent.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience working on Slot Games, Casino Games, or Casual Games.
- Experience creating UI animations and interactive effects.
- Proficiency with Unity Particle System, Shader effects, and animation optimization.
- Familiarity with After Effects, Illustrator, or other animation-related software.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Runway, or similar creative AI platforms.
- Experience mentoring junior animators or leading animation projects.
Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
