Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Advisor / Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) to join our growing advisory team. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in building meaningful client relationships while delivering sophisticated financial planning and investment strategies.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and client-focused, with a strong foundation in financial planning, portfolio management, and wealth strategy. You will play a key role in guiding clients through complex financial decisions, including retirement planning, tax optimization, estate planning, and generational wealth transfer.
Key Objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor and integral member of the firm’s advisory team
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and deliver actionable recommendations
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Continuously enhance professional knowledge and contribute to team excellence
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized financial advice aligned with the firm’s client-centered philosophy
- Develop comprehensive financial plans, including retirement, tax, estate, and risk management strategies
- Analyze client financial data (income, expenses, assets, liabilities) to inform recommendations
- Construct and maintain financial models, cash flow analyses, and planning projections
- Evaluate client risk tolerance and adapt strategies as needs evolve
- Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals (CPAs, attorneys) to build holistic plans
- Present recommendations and guide clients through implementation
- Monitor financial plans and adjust based on market conditions, life events, and regulatory changes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, estate strategies, and financial products
- Support business development efforts and deepen existing client relationships
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licenses: Series 65 or 66 (Required)
- Certifications: CFP® designation (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 4–6+ years of experience in financial planning or advisory services
Strong knowledge of:
- Retirement planning
- Tax planning strategies
- Estate and wealth transfer planning
- Trusts and charitable giving strategies
- Proficiency in financial planning software, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- High ethical standards and a strong client-first mindset
- Experience in client relationship management and business development is a plus
