Data Analyst (Entry-Level / Junior)
Role Description
Support business and operational decision-making by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights and recommendations. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with clear visibility into business performance, operational trends, customer behavior, and key performance indicators. Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of datasets. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement, and communicate findings through clear reports and presentations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support forecasting, performance measurement, process optimization, and strategic initiatives that contribute to organizational growth and operational excellence. Maintain data integrity and support data-driven decision-making across business functions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in spreadsheets, data analysis tools, reporting platforms, and data visualization software. Familiarity with SQL, database concepts, statistical methodologies, and data management practices is advantageous. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Knowledge of business intelligence, reporting frameworks, data governance, forecasting, performance measurement, KPI analysis, and process improvement principles is highly beneficial. Experience with dashboard development, data storytelling, and business reporting tools is considered an advantage.
