Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer & Social Media Content Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing creative visual and digital content across all of Fromm Nieman Brands including; Fromm Family Pet Food, Foxtown Brewing, Foxtown Heritage Meats, Foxtown Station, Annex, and Renard's. This role combines graphic design expertise with social media content creation, brand storytelling, and digital marketing execution.
As a key member of the Marketing team, this individual will ensure all visual and written content aligns with established brand standards while engaging target audiences across print, digital, social media, and public-facing channels. The ideal candidate is a highly creative self-starter who can manage multiple projects, create compelling content, and bring brand stories to life through design, photography, video, and social media.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Graphic Design & Brand Management
- Design and produce creative assets for Fromm Nieman Brands across print and digital platforms.
- Ensure all creative work aligns with established brand standards and maintains consistency across locations and channels.
- Develop and produce menus, packaging, signage, promotional materials, event collateral, sponsorship materials, digital displays, and marketing campaigns.
- Create original artwork and illustrations for product packaging, merchandise, and other brand applications.
- Design wayfinding systems, environmental graphics, and venue signage across multiple hospitality locations.
- Manage recurring content production cycles including monthly promotions, event calendars, weekly digital display updates, and other time-sensitive materials.
- Oversee print production from file preparation through vendor communication, proofing, and press approvals.
- Maintain a clear understanding of project objectives from concept through final production.
- Participate in creative discussions and contribute innovative design solutions while effectively executing the creative vision of stakeholders.
Social Media Content Creation & Management
- Plan, create, and execute engaging social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and emerging channels.
- Develop and maintain content calendars and posting schedules for all brands.
- Write, edit, and proofread social media captions, promotional copy, and campaign messaging.
- Capture and edit photography and video content that reflects the personality and goals of each brand.
- Create compelling visual and written stories that increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and audience growth.
- Monitor social media activity, engage with followers, and respond to messages and comments in a professional and timely manner.
- Research trends, influencers, and emerging social media opportunities to keep brand content relevant and engaging.
- Brainstorm and execute promotional campaigns, contests, partnerships, and audience engagement initiatives.
- Analyze social media performance and recommend strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
Digital Marketing & Communications
- Support email marketing campaigns through graphic asset creation and content development.
- Maintain familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign production processes.
- Develop content for internal and external communications, including announcements, press releases, media advisories, and promotional materials.
- Assist with media outreach and serve as a point of contact for media inquiries when needed.
- Help increase brand visibility through strategic storytelling, community partnerships, and event promotion.
- Attend and support company events, community engagements, and promotional activities while capturing content for marketing use.
Collaboration & Team Support
- Maintain open communication with internal teams regarding project status, priorities, and creative needs.
- Effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Accept constructive feedback and provide thoughtful creative input to team members.
- Contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and innovative company culture.
- Attend marketing, branding, and creative meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in graphic design, social media marketing, content creation, or a related creative role.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and related creative software.
- Experience with photography, videography, video editing, and content production.
- Strong understanding of branding principles, print production, packaging design, and digital marketing.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms and managing content calendars.
- Excellent typography, layout, and visual communication skills.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Familiarity with social media management tools, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Sprout Social, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Ability to confidently present creative concepts and rationale to leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Willingness to attend off-site events and work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must provide a portfolio demonstrating graphic design, social media content creation, photography, video, and creative campaign work.
