Job Description
Responsibilities listed below are including but not limited to,
· Create drawings of HVAC wire harnesses using Solidworks to help communicate technical requirements to customers and manufacturing.
· Integrate with Oklahoma City and global team to develop and improve best practices in design and manufacturing.
· Evaluate functionality and fit of components within sub-assemblies
· Manage designs from conception to production using Solidworks PDM
· Work with laboratory technicians to set up and execute tests; generate reports to validate product performance
· Gather technical requirements from drawings and determine project requirements and feasibility
· Work closely with quality and manufacturing team members to develop engineering solutions that can improve product cost, production yield and / or overall product performance and reliability
· Work with product performance and safety certification agencies as assigned by your manager
· Project Management and execution
· Provide Sales, Marketing, and Operations with technical support
· Supports the company’s overall mission, standards, policies and procedures, and confidentiality guidelines
Basic Requirements and Qualifications
· 3+ Years Experience in wire harness design and / or manufacturing
· Self-Motivated, collaborative and professional with other team members
· Solidworks Experience Preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· A degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent technical discipline.
· 10% Travel (Domestic and International)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
