Job Summary
The Investor Relations & Capital Markets professional will be responsible for proactive investor outreach, fundraising execution, and ongoing LP relationship management for WRC REI Fund I. This role combines institutional investor relations with direct capital-raising activity, including outbound engagement with family offices, high-net-worth investors, and investment advisors.
This is a relationship-driven sales role grounded in fiduciary discipline, financial literacy, and long-term investor trust.
Job Responsibilities
Investor Outreach & Fundraising (Sales Function)
- Proactively source, contact, and develop relationships with prospective investors
- Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, meetings) to family offices, HNW investors, RIAs, and select institutions
- Manage investor pipeline from initial contact → diligence → commitment → close
- Coordinate follow-ups, Q&A, and diligence requests with senior leadership
- Maintain accurate CRM tracking of outreach activity, investor status, and commitments
- Attending conferences and participating with managing partner meetings.
Investor Relations & LP Management
- Serve as a relationship manager for committed investors
- Deliver consistent, professional communication throughout the investment lifecycle
- Manage capital call and distribution communications in coordination with fund operations
- Support investor update calls, annual meetings, and ad-hoc performance discussions
Materials & Narrative
- Present the WRC investment thesis, track record, and portfolio strategy clearly and credibly
- Assist in refining pitch decks, FAQs, and market commentary based on investor feedback
- Ensure alignment between investor messaging, legal disclosures, and actual fund execution

Qualifications
Required
- 1–5+ years in capital raising, investor relations, or alternatives sales
- Proven experience directly raising capital for private funds, real estate, or alternatives
- Comfort with outbound investor outreach and pipeline management
- Strong command of fund economics, IRR, equity multiples, waterfalls, and distributions
- Professional presence suitable for family office and institutional conversations

- Real estate private equity or real assets background
- Existing relationships with family offices, HNW investors, or RIAs
- Prior experience raising capital for an emerging manager or Fund I / II
