Position Summary
Bradesco Bank is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern for a one-year internship supporting dashboard development, financial reporting, data analysis, and automation initiatives. This role is designed for an entry to mid-level candidate interested in banking, finance, data visualization, and analytics. The intern will work with Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel to help transform data into accurate, actionable reporting for business partners and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and recurring business intelligence reports.
- Write and review SQL queries to extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from internal reporting sources.
- Use Python to clean, transform, automate, and analyze financial and operational datasets.
- Support portfolio, revenue, balance, KPI, profitability, and business performance reporting.
- Perform data quality checks and reconcile report outputs to source data for accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare clear tables, visuals, summaries, and documentation for internal stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Technology, and business teams to improve reporting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Basic understanding of finance, banking, or business performance metrics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis concepts.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL, Power BI
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, DAX, data modeling, or ETL concepts.
- Interest in financial services, wealth management, banking analytics, or corporate reporting.
- Ability to communicate technical findings in a clear and business-friendly way.
