Godden|Sudik Architects is an award-winning, nationally recognized Denver architecture firm specializing in all types of residential design. We're expanding our in-house graphics department and looking for a motivated emerging professional to join our current graphics team member, forming a small team focused on building out 3D visualization capabilities alongside adding to our existing 2D design and marketing work.
Responsibilities
- Create 2D project graphics and renderings using AutoCAD and Photoshop.
- Create 3D project models and renderings using Revit and/or SketchUp, with rendering support from 3ds Max and Enscape.
- Coordinate and assist in the development of architectural vision documents for projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to select and illustrate project color and material selections.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to design and lay out project proposals, requests for qualifications, brochures, and similar marketing collateral.
- Stay current on new visualization and AI-assisted design tools and look for ways to bring them into the department's workflow.
- Coordinate and assist in the development and management of office standards and internal tutorial resources.
- Support marketing efforts including website content, press releases, social media, and other marketing assignments as needed.
Salary Range- $33.65 to 40.87/hour
Qualifications
Software
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred.
- Some exposure to 3D tools (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Enscape, or similar) preferred; training will be provided.
- Interest in emerging tech and AI design/visualization tools.
- Experience with WordPress and/or basic HTML a plus.
Design Skills
- Solid understanding of color theory, typography, and layout/composition.
- Understanding of branding and visual identity.
- Drawing/sketching skills a plus.
Other
- Degree in Architecture, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to juggle a few projects at once.
- Attention to detail and pride in the craft of finished work.
- Team player, willing to learn and pick up new technical skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Able to help meet project deadlines in a studio environment.
