Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Houston, TX. The Account Manager will manage existing customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts in key industries such as energy, power generation, and heavy manufacturing. Daily responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, preparing quotations, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and monitoring order progress to ensure accurate and timely delivery. The role will also involve negotiating contracts, maintaining up-to-date records in the CRM system, resolving issues related to product quality or delivery, and providing regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and logistics to optimize customer satisfaction and support long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong account management and customer relationship skills, including experience handling multiple industrial or B2B clients.
- Sales, negotiation, and business development capabilities with a focus on identifying opportunities and closing deals.
- Knowledge of steel, metals, manufacturing, or industrial products, with the ability to understand technical specifications and applications.
- Organizational, time management, and CRM skills to manage quotes, orders, and customer communications accurately.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and presenting information to clients.
- Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX, and coordinate with production and logistics teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Previous experience in account management, sales, or customer service within manufacturing or industrial sectors is preferred.
