About the Company
Vitro is seeking a Junior Producer to join our production team. We are looking for a Junior Producer with experience managing small to medium sized post-production projects as well as producing small shoots from green light to delivery. The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller with strong organizational skills, excellent creative instincts, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment. This person should be comfortable collaborating with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Producers, Animators, and Client Services teams while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Agency Production experience is preferred but not required. Experience in advertising production is required. This is a month-long contract position, hybrid position based in San Diego and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office, with additional in-office days as dictated by project needs.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage the production process of small to mid-sized projects with in-house team and external production vendors.
- Support Senior production staff on the production of mid-to-large scale productions.
- Facilitate internal production processes with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Producers, Animators, and Account teams to bring creative concepts to life.
- Assist on the production of two local small scale productions.
- Manage stakeholders inputs against timelines.
- Perform quality control reviews to ensure all deliverables meet creative, technical, and platform specifications.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional production experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating some experience in producing advertising (motion or static content is applicable).
- Willingness to learn.
- Experience in producing social media content.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, music, sound design, and visual composition.
- Experience working directly with creative teams and managing multiple stakeholder reviews.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Comfortable balancing multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization throughout employment.
Pay range and compensation package
This is a month-long contract position, hybrid position based in San Diego and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office, with additional in-office days as dictated by project needs.
