Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to join our Equipment Planning Group supporting paint department operations.
This role involves approximately 80% office-based and 20% shop-floor activity, and requires hands-on involvement in equipment specifications development, project management, and manufacturing-focused requirements (for example, materials handling).
The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing experience, practical knowledge of robotics and maintenance, and the ability to execute and inspect equipment and systems on site.
Responsibilities include supporting conveyor and paint-line projects, planning equipment, creating and reviewing technical and inspection documentation, participating in on-site inspections, and performing quality checks

Required:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience in a Our Client engineering or technical role
Experience with CAD or similar modeling software
Experience with spec development
Experience creating A3 and/or Ringi documents for equipment procurement
Ability to identify project constraints and develop effective countermeasures
2+ years of project management experience
PLC experience and knowledge – Nice to have
