We are looking for an outgoing architectural designer with a strong technical background, plus relationship-building and business development skills, to join our firm as an Architectural Design Representative.
About the Role
We're seeking an Architectural Designer within the greater Atlanta area with 3-5 years of professional experience to support a range of commercial and residential projects for our US clients. This is a full-time, fully remote position offering the opportunity to work across diverse project types while collaborating closely with an experienced, offshore design team. The ideal candidate will also have Business Development experience or a strong interest in expanding their knowledge of the process of Business Development.
What You’ll Do
- Communicate with US-based clients to understand project requirements and provide updates
- Coordinate project requirements and work closely with our amazing offshore design team to develop architectural construction documents
- Review architectural drawings and construction documents in accordance with US. building codes and client requirements + standards
- Support projects from schematic design through construction documentation
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil design teams to ensure accurate, well-integrated deliverables
- Develop new clients through our Business Development process
- Provide lunch-and-learn and learn and AIA approved presentations
- Prepare proposals, track opportunities, and plan workflow
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Building Construction
- 3-5 years of commercial experience
- Experience and/or interest in Business Development
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of US. building codes and construction documentation standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability & Willingness to travel to our four India offices to work with our offshore team
