The IT Programmer/Analyst, reports to the Lead Application Programmer/Analyst, provides scripting and programming support and database programming support as required for CEI'S Application systems. This position supports the Ellucian Colleague Systems and other related applications. The incumbent must understand and embrace the mission of higher education and must commit to the mission, goals and objectives of the College of Eastern Idaho.

- Associate's degree in information systems, computer science or related field preferred
- Experience with Higher Ed ERP or CRM systems, particularly Ellucian Colleague
- Experience with SQL and/or Unidata or other large-scale relational database
- Experience with report design/development
- Experience with C family languages, specifically C++ or C#
- Experience with Java and/or Eclipse/Colleague Studio development environment
- Experience integrating API's or other outside applications (including cloud-based systems) with internal enterprise systems
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence and a significant amount of detail
- Bilingual (Spanish)

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
On-site work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required. Employees may be required to work at occasional events and handle tasks outside of regular working hours.
Background Investigations:
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and/or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225:Background Checks
