BrainWorks Search is partnered with a leading automotive manufacturer outside of Detroit seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers to join its team. This is a hands-on, plant-floor-focused role supporting a high-volume die-casting manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor
Partner with Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment and production issues
Diagnose recurring downtime and drive issues to root cause
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance and OEE
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Support manufacturing processes within a highly automated production environment
Qualifications
3–7+ years of hands-on manufacturing, process, equipment, or maintenance engineering experience preferred
Die-casting experience strongly preferred; injection molding or extrusion experience will also be considered
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $80,000–$110,000 (+) DOE
