Sales & Marketing Assistant to the Owner

We’re growing and looking for an energetic, organized person who can help generate traffic, turn leads into sales, keep our sales team on track, and assist the owner with daily operations.
You’ll work directly with the owner in a fast-paced retail store selling appliances, furniture, flooring, and home improvement products. We need someone who takes initiative, follows through, and is comfortable talking with customers.
What You’ll Do
- Create and post product listings, ads, and promotions on Facebook Marketplace and social media.
- Film and edit product videos, sale announcements, and video ads.
- Set up, run, and track marketing campaigns that generate leads and store visits.
- Respond promptly to calls, messages, comments, and online inquiries.
- Enter leads into our CRM, assign follow-up, and make sure customers receive timely responses.
- Track salesperson follow-up, appointments, and daily activity; flag missed commitments to the owner.
- Help plan sales events and coordinate advertising, signage, and team preparation.
- Work on-site during busy periods to greet customers, connect them with salespeople, and keep customer flow organized.
- Assist the owner with scheduling, task tracking, interview coordination, and other day-to-day needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in sales, digital marketing, or retail customer service.
- Ability to create and edit videos and write ads that get attention.
- Experience with Facebook Marketplace, social media advertising, and CRM systems.
- Strong organization and follow-through, with the confidence to remind others of deadlines and expectations.
- A friendly, professional approach with customers.
- Availability during peak shopping hours, weekends, and sales events.
- Someone who sees what needs to be done and takes action.
