Japanese Bilingual – Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales Rep.
Job location: Midtown Manhattan. On-site. Full-time
A well-established Japanese company is looking for a sales rep who is fluent in Japanese and English, and has procurement, manufacturing company, freight forwarding, export and import trading company, and/or sales experience.
Some of the main responsibilities at this sales position: Communicate with customers, manufacturing companies, and vendors, using Japanese and English language skills. Take and process orders. Conduct market research to increase sales. Communicate with the head office and customers in Japan via email, phone and online, using Japanese language skills.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:
- Fluent in Japanese and English. A native level of Japanese (N1, N2 and/or a native Japanese speaker), and at least a business level of English.)
- Able to work at the office in Midtown Manhattan, Monday through Friday.
- 2+ years of procurement, manufacturing company, freight forwarding, and/or trading company (export and import) exp as a sales rep.
- A valid US driver’s license.
- Able to travel for business.
- Able to use Excel and PowerPoint in Japanese and English.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Able to start in 2 weeks at the office if you receive a job offer.
Salary: $70,000/yr + a discretionary bonus.
FLSA Status: Exempt.
Note: This isn’t a commission-based sales role.
