As a Marketing & Social Media Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping the public perception and customer experience of the Lexar brand. You'll engage directly with our online communities and help activate exciting brand campaigns across social platforms, events, and influencer channels. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about marketing, social media, and creative storytelling.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and engaging with the organization's online community in a way which builds brand authenticity, credibility and trust.
Responsibilities:
Social Media
· Draft, schedule, and manage content across Lexar’s social media platforms
· Maintain the social content calendar and monitor key trends in photography, videography, and gaming communities
· Respond to customer questions and comments with clarity and a consistent brand voice
· Recommend Lexar products and inform users where to purchase them
· Monitor public forums, YouTube, and media publications for brand mentions and customer sentiment
· Support community activations such as giveaways, influencer campaigns, and contests
· Gather and route inbound influencer and partner inquiries to the marketing team
Marketing Support
· Assist with the coordination and inventory of sample products, swag, and branded materials
· Support logistics and preparation for trade shows and community events
· Represent Lexar at events, engaging with fans and championing our products
Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Marketing, Communications, or related program
· 0–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, or community management
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Reddit, etc.)
· Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
· A team player with a collaborative mindset
