The Internship within our Analytical Group will assist with all functions of the team members. The job purpose is to assist analysts in the project management of client engagements. Some key responsibilities will be to research and prepare investor and buyer marketing lists, manage various databases for targeted institutional investors, formulate due diligence questionnaires, provide any support needed on due diligence and valuation packages, and coordinate meetings and presentation materials. The intern will also be responsible for researching relevant industry information and valuation metrics and assisting and creating portions of investor presentations and other forms of marketing materials.
The qualifications for this position require strong analytical and communication skills (both oral and written), excellent use of Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint, aptitude for detail and a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to set clear priorities in managing workflow. Qualified candidates need to demonstrate key competencies including a working knowledge of standard investment management concepts and a proven ability to plan and organize with a high degree of creativity and innovation.
Our interns fully support the analytical team and are also responsible for interacting with our client's management teams, analyzing financial statements and tax returns, working with complex financial models and preparing detailed written reports on company findings. This is a project oriented, financial modeling, research and writing position that requires the ability to multi-task.
