The Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant is responsible for design, configuration, and building our software applications to JMT's nonprofit organization clients, primarily on the cloud-based software applications JMT supports. If you are a self-starter, comfortable working with senior and middle-management client staff, making recommendations and holding client accountability, this is the position for you.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Establishing Sage Intacct system requirements via business process analysis and consultation.
Working with clients, the ability to design system specifications and build systems including configuration of software, report builds, workflows, allocations, and minor customizations.
Evaluate clients' needs and desired workflows to determine most effective ways to configure the application.
Working with clients directly to validate implemented design.
Oversee project testing and user acceptance, including creation and customization of test plans.
Building tools, templates, and shortcuts to make implementations more efficient.
Manage multiple assignments, determine, and organize priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision/direction.
Troubleshoot issues and communicate solutions to non-technical clients.
Exercise sound judgment to independently define, investigate and resolve problems/conflicts.
Develop ongoing rapport with client project teams.
Successfully guide clients through complex multi-month implementation projects

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance, information technology, or computer science
Three years experience implementing Sage Intacct
5+ years of accounting experience
3+ years of consulting in technology
Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
Understanding of business processes and general business workflows
Great organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
