Responsibilities
Oaktree is seeking summer interns with a 2027 or 2028 expected graduation date. The Interns will work with the Sourcing & Origination team and support the Strategic Credit strategy while being part of our international internship program. As part of this program you will have contact with senior leaders and opportunities to participate in events in and outside of the Oaktree office.
Responsibilities include:
• Assist the team in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on new deal opportunities including detailed financial modeling and reports
• Assist the team develop and maintain business and industry due diligence on both the deal opportunity transaction side, and business development pipeline side
• Assisting in conducting deal structuring, legal documentation, negotiations and post-closing deal monitoring
Qualifications
• Some knowledge of financial modeling and analytical skills, basic understanding of financial statements and accounting
• Interest and/or knowledge of financial markets
• Strong skills on Excel
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with private equity, private debt and other illiquid assets, as well as credit instruments (high yield bonds, senior loans and convertible securities) is a plus, but not required

Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a high GPA from a university or college.
Summer Stipend
$43/hour
