Job Description:
As a Sr Business Analyst, you will analyze and document complex business processes and requirements to improve service delivery. You will lead or contribute to solution design, training development, stakeholder engagement, and system implementation. The role involves evaluating alternative solutions, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and ensuring integration across technical environments. You will work closely with State staff at all levels and apply emerging technologies to solve business challenges effectively and cost-efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and document complex business processes and requirements
Develop and evaluate alternative solutions including process reengineering and IT enhancements
Design and deliver end-user training programs including eLearning modules
Conduct cost-benefit analyses aligned with client methodologies
Lead or support project planning and execution from inception to maintenance
Create data models and process/activity models to define system functionality
Support system installation, testing, data conversion, and maintenance
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements
Conduct special studies and prepare reports on business and system issues
Build strong relationships across all levels of State staff
Apply hands-on experience in data and process modelling
Ensure solutions are integrated across functional and technical environments
Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to business challenges

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible business analysis experience within the last 5 years
Proven experience in developing and delivering training including eLearning and instructor-led sessions
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
Strong analytical, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage complex projects

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
