Job Description
Position: Fashion Social Media & Content Associate
Location: New York, NY – Garment District (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-time
Company Description
We are an early-stage designer fashion brand based in New York, founded on a simple but enduring belief: clothes should last, and they should matter. Each piece is created with intention, shaped through precise tailoring, thoughtful material, and craftsmanship that speaks quietly but clearly. We remain committed to the same principles: supporting women in their everyday lives, offering confidence without spectacle, and standing apart from disposable, trend-driven fashion. Equally important is the environment we build within. We encourage real connection across our team, value every voice in shaping how we work, and believe that integrity in process is as vital as integrity in design. Our future depends on collaboration that is both authentic and fair.
Responsibilities of Social Media & Content Associate
1. Social Media Management
Develop and maintain monthly/weekly content calendars, ensuring a consistent brand voice and posting rhythm across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms.
Manage account operations and community engagement: initiate and respond to comments, inquiries, DMs, hashtag strategy, and UGC collection.
Ensure compliance with platform guidelines, copyright/usage rights, and handle basic reputation monitoring.
2. Content Creation (Photo/Video/Copy)
Independently shoot, edit, and produce short-form videos (Reels, TikTok) and photography with high aesthetic standards.
Write and refine captions, copy, and scripts; storyboard simple concepts.
Maintain the brand’s visual language (composition, lighting, color palette, typography, layout).
Manage a structured content library for re-use and cross-platform adaptation.
3. Brand Marketing Collaboration
Translate product launches, lookbooks, and campaign ideas into social-first narratives and rollouts.
Capture live moments during shoots, events, and activations for real-time amplification.
Provide creative assets for e-commerce, paid campaigns, and newsletters as needed.
4. PR & Influencer Relations
Build and maintain a pool of micro-influencers, stylists, and media contacts; coordinate sample send-outs, gifting, and follow-ups.
Track and manage influencer-generated content usage rights for re-posting or paid amplification.
Support press and stylist placements with timely asset delivery and amplification.
5. Advertising & Growth Support
Work with the E-commerce Lead on paid campaigns, reporting on performance, highlighting key learnings, and suggesting adjustments as needed.
6. Market & Trend Analysis
Maintain a “trend radar” for emerging formats, visual styles, cultural moments, and fashion industry topics.
Keep abreast of competitors’ marketing activities and, on an ongoing basis, notify management of trends and initiatives that you recommend we adopt.
Create moodboards with actionable creative recommendations when and as directed.
7. Reporting & Optimization
Provide reports that cover key metrics, highlight takeaways, and share recommendations or next steps with the team.
8. Project Execution & Coordination

Prioritize efficient production methods (mobile-first, quick edits, template-driven workflows).
