Role Overview
The Associate Designer will support the Design Director, Senior Designer, and Assistant Designer in the full design lifecycle. This role requires creativity, strong technical skills, and an eye for detail to ensure our collections embody the brands aesthetic. The ideal candidate will be a proactive collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings innovative ideas to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Design Director, Senior Designer, and Assistant Designer on seasonal collections.
- Research trends, fabrics, trims, and colors to inspire design direction.
- Create technical sketches, CADs, and presentation boards using Adobe Suite.
- Assist in developing mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal concepts.
- Support in preparing tech packs, line sheets, and sample development.
- Maintain design archives, swatch libraries, and digital files.
- Participate in fittings, take notes, and ensure design intent is communicated to cross-functional teams.
- Assist with sample management, organization, and communication with factories/vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign required).
- 2–4 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in contemporary or luxury womenswear.
- Strong sketching, CAD, and rendering abilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
Salary $70,000-$90,000
