WordPress Website Designer (Contract / Remote)

Key Concepts Marketing is a full-service marketing agency based in La Vernia, Texas, serving clients across Central Texas and beyond. We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative WordPress Website Designer to support our growing client base on a project-by-project basis.
This is a fully remote, contract role with flexible hours. Ideal for a proactive, experienced designer who can manage projects from concept to launch with team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build custom websites from start to finish using WordPress and Elementor
- Manage website publishing, including DNS updates and going live
- Make edits and updates to existing websites as needed (including occasional Wix sites)
- Implement basic SEO setup (e.g., metadata, alt tags, sitemap, robots.txt)
- Ensure responsiveness and usability across all devices
Requirements:
- Proven experience with WordPress and Elementor (portfolio required)
- Ability to create, design, and launch websites independently
- Experience with DNS management and launching websites
- Basic knowledge of Wix for small-scale edits when needed
- Understanding of basic on-page SEO principles
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Reliable, deadline-driven, and responsive to email communication within 24 business hours
- NDA and non-compete agreement required
