Home Love Construction & Outdoor, a premier construction and outdoor company is seeking a skilled Construction Design Drafter to join our team in Clearwater. With over 5 years of experience in construction design and architectural planning, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in residential projects, a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces, and a commitment to excellence in design.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, drafters, and engineers to develop accurate plans and truss design profile drawings for residential and commercial projects.
- Design residential roof and floor systems using Truss software, optimizing designs to minimize costs and adhere to code and company standards.
- Maintain project task updates and efficiently manage workload to meet productivity goals.
- Interpret blueprints and structural design needs to determine design specifications.
- Resolve architectural and design discrepancies using critical thinking skills.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to create civil project designs, drawing packages, layouts, plans, profiles, sections, and details.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in construction design and architectural planning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Truss software.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, architectural drawings, and local building codes.
- Knowledge of general construction industry practices and engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Experience with 3D software for construction concepts is preferred.
- Familiarity with load calculation and transfer methods is advantageous.
