National Account Manager
Location: Inland Transport Headquarters (100% In-Office)
Compensation: $40,000+
Year 1-2 Earnings Potential: $105,000–$120,000+
Inland Transport is seeking driven, high-performing professionals to join our award-winning team as a National Account Manager. What You’ll Do:
- Develop, manage, and grow relationships with national clients across multiple industries
- Drive new business growth through prospecting, cold calling, sourcing, and account penetration
- Negotiate pricing and close deals with both shippers and carriers
- Manage client shipments from origin to destination, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams for efficient order processing and tracking
- Use CRM and proprietary software to manage your pipeline, and customer data
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay on top of market trends and logistics solutions
What You Need:
- 1–2 years of sales experience (logistics or freight preferred, but not required)
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- A high level of motivation, competitiveness, and grit
- Ability to cold call with confidence and persistence
- Effective time-management and organizational abilities
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Availability to work full-time, 100% in-office
