TERRITORY SALES MANAGER – INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION
- Location: Houston, TX or Cleveland, OH or Columbia, SC
- Compensation: $90K–$120K + Uncapped Commissions & Bonuses ($25K-$50K)

Our client, a nationally recognized leader in the industrial distribution space, is seeking a high-performing Territory Sales Manager to spearhead business growth and strengthen market presence across Greater Houston and Southeast Texas. Representing a trusted brand with eight U.S. facilities and a diverse product portfolio—including fasteners, safety equipment, VMI & MRO solutions, supply chain management, consignment programs, and more—you’ll partner with customers across industries such as manufacturing, OEM, aerospace, marine, automotive, and medical. Responsibilities:
- Lead Territory Growth– Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets, expand accounts, and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Deliver Customer-Centric Solutions– Understand client operations, challenges, and goals to provide tailored, high-value solutions that improve efficiency and profitability.
- Drive Consultative Sales– Engage decision-makers across multiple levels, from procurement to executive leadership, building trust and long-term partnerships.
- Own the Sales Process– Qualify leads, conduct needs assessments, negotiate contracts, and close high-impact deals.
- Leverage Data & Insights– Use Salesforce and other analytics tools to track performance, forecast opportunities, and optimize sales activities.
- Champion the Brand– Act as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador, representing our client’s 120+ year legacy of quality, service, and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Proven Sales Track Record– Minimum5 years of success in outside sales, business development, or territory management, preferably in industrial manufacturing, or distribution.
- Hunter Mentality– Skilled in cold calling, networking, and closing new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Consultative Approach– Exceptional ability to identify needs, craft solutions, and deliver results through strategic selling.
- Market Insight– Strong understanding of industrial supply chains, manufacturing processes, and B2B distribution.
- Tech-Enabled Selling Skills– Proficiency inCRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and data-driven decision-making.
- Professional Presence– Polished communication and presentation skills thatinfluence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility & Mobility– Willingness to travel for client meetings, including overnight trips when necessary.
