We’re seeking a motivated social media specialist to support our growing roster of home, design and lifestyle clients. The role works across a range of projects including influencer marketing, digital content creation and analytics. The ideal candidate will have worked within an agency setting and demonstrate a passion for creativity, strong writing and a team-player attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an understanding of digital and social platforms, channel nuances and effective uses of features unique to each.
- Research, conduct outreach, and manage relationships with influencers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Draft copy and oversee calendars to support client social media accounts
- Responsible for daily account management activities, such as agendas, recaps, and activity reports; coordinate development of all necessary materials to support accounts.
- Attend client events, such as trade shows, and facilitate influencer engagements; network with applicable media and/or influencers.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients and new business opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with team members to develop and implement successful social campaigns.
- Prioritize own work, meet deadlines, and actively communicate progress and deliverables.
- Complete individual tasks with minimal supervision.
- Serve as an active member of the team and demonstrate team-player attitude.
Requirements:
- B.S/B.A in Public Relations or related field
- 1+ years of PR agency or in-house experience
- Ability to think critically and to provide strategic insight and analysis to solve problems
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a collaborative environment
- Flexible, driven, creative and passionate about the communications industry
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
