We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented cabinet designer to join our Design and Engineering team. This role is a key partner to our Sales Designers — working collaboratively to develop detailed cabinetry plans, produce accurate estimates, and ensure projects move smoothly from concept to installation. - Team Player (dependable, doing the right thing, being helpful)
- Self-Starter (motivated, can-do attitude, good work ethic)
- Problem Solver (creative, solutions driven)
- Expertise (professional, detail oriented, someone who “gets it”)
This position is responsible for:
- Creating detailed CAD drawings and installation documents for cabinetry projects.
- Preparing accurate project estimates, revisions, and contracts.
- Researching new products, hardware, and design solutions to support project needs.
- Tracking and resolving missing information, ensuring complete project documentation.
- Supporting Sales Designers with technical designs, pricing, and project problem solving.
- Conducting site measures and providing field support to installers.
- Collaborating in pre-processing meetings and answering installer questions.
- Managing order submission and ensuring accuracy in all documents.
You will thrive in this position if you have:
- Strong AutoCAD skills (experience with other design and/or rendering software is a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in cabinetry, interior design, or related technical design field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as a true partner to Sales Designers, helping move projects from vision to reality.
- Strong research and problem solving abilities, with the initiative to find solutions independently while keeping your designer counterpart informed.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in both design and documentation.
- Familiarity with cabinetry construction, hardware, and installation processes.
- A team mindset — celebrating shared wins and helping Sales Designers delivery the best possible client experience.
