Job Title: Finance and Accounting Manager
Job Summary: The Finance & Accounting Manager position at Evolution Powersports oversees accounting, financial reporting, and the budgeting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and taxes, coordinating audits, and providing financial analysis and strategic advice to senior management. Finance & Accounting Manager also manages accounting staff, develops internal controls, and implements best practices to support the organization's financial goals.
General Duties:
Accounting Operations:
· Oversee the accounting team as the accounting representative of the general ledger; ensure accounting practices are in accordance with GAAP, transactions are completed accurately, perform monthly, account reconciliations as well as a perform daily & monthly general transactions and posting.
· Manages an accounting process issue/problem into the stage of corrective action. Initiate steps for both immediate action and long-term prevention of problems.
· Oversee Cost Accounting as needed.
· Ensures the company adheres to local, state, and federal tax regulations and financial laws.
· Mange the documentation of policies, procedures and workflow as needed for Accounting & Finance
Financial Reporting and Analysis
· Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for both internal and external stakeholders.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making. Focusing on product level.
· Develop, implement, and maintaining robust financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
· Manage special project(s) development related to strategic business unit, customer, and product profitability analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
· Develop, monitor, and manage the company's annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with other departments.
Auditing:
· Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensuring that all financial information is organized for audit purposes.
· Work with Financial, Engineering and Operations to establish, maintain, review, and reconcile R&D, product, and capital projects. Provide required reports and accounting for purposes of monthly financial reporting and annual tax filing and audit.
Staff Management:
· Supervise and lead accounting staff.

Skill Requirements:
· Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, accounting software, and tax compliance. Advanced excel skills are required.
· Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify key trends and issues. Experienced documenting process flow
· Leadership and Management: Ability to motivate and guide a team of finance professionals.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders.
· Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
· Integrity and Honesty: High ethical standards are crucial for handling financial information.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
Minimum Requirements:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and five to ten years of experience
· Experience working in a fast paced environment.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
