MuleSoft Migration Consultant
Work Location: Pittsburg and Houston Preferred (Remote)
Job Summary:
Client is seeking a seasoned MuleSoft Migration Consultant to lead and manage the end-to-end migration/rollout of its DDP (Digital and Data Platform) sites. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in integration architecture, project coordination, stakeholder management, and hands-on MuleSoft development. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Schedule/Plan for Individual Locations aligned to DDP/WMX (Warehouse Management Excellence) plan
• Develop Resource Plan for rollout and adjust if differs from current staffing
• Create integration Rollout Runbook for Locations (names and dates)
• Coordinate and manage the Rollout PODs comprising MuleSoft Migration Leads and MuleSoft Developers for respective Front/Middle/Back Office tracks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and security policies.
• Monitor and report on migration progress, risks, and issues.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in integration and middleware technologies.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Proven experience in migration projects from legacy systems to MuleSoft.
• Strong understanding of API-led connectivity, ESB, and microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Background in warehouse management system integrations is a plus.
