Investment Analyst
Responsibilities
- Assist with due diligence on underlying fund and direct investments, draft investment memos, and document diligence process.
- Participate in investment committee meetings and prepare related documentation.
- Monitor current investments, including collateral pools supporting credit facilities.
- Build and manage analytic, business intelligence and process improvement tools focused on investment planning, liquidity management, CRM and portfolio level risks.
- Assist on underlying fund level performance monitoring, attribution and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree, major in finance or economics is preferred
- Familiarity with the private credit space is a plus
- Ability to develop proprietary models in Excel and analyze robust financial models
- Candidate must be extremely detail-oriented
- Strong written and communication skills
- Experience working with database management software (i.e., Salesforce)
- Ability to analyze situations in a time-sensitive manner and execute appropriate responses
- Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
