About Us
Stage to Move is a high-end home staging and interior design company with a reputation for design-forward spaces and seamless project execution. We’re growing quickly, and with our current staging manager going on maternity leave in early 2026, we’re looking for a dynamic leader to step in - first as her temporary replacement, and then transition into a full-time interior design leadership role.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the company and take ownership of interior design projects while learning the heart of what we do: staging.
INTERIOR DESIGN LEAD
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-scope interior design projects from proposal to installation
- Source furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and materials
- Lead client presentations and guide project direction
- Budget effectively using Excel/Google Sheets
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for timely execution
- Create layouts and designs (SketchUp, Design Files, or similar)
- Maintain strong client communication and timelines
- Step in as staging backup when needed
Qualifications
- Home Staging experience
- Interior design experience (3–5+ years preferred)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and client management
- Software knowledge: SketchUp, Design Files, Excel/Sheets, project trackers
- Comfortable with physical staging needs (lifting light items, being onsite)
- Calm under pressure, creative problem solver, strong decision-maker
- Portfolio and references showing design execution and client satisfaction
