We are seeking a Sales & Design Consultant with a passion for seasonal styling and holiday décor who can connect creativity with sales success.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Client Experience
- Greet and engage clients with warmth, expertise, and genuine enthusiasm for design.
- Guide customers through the selection of outdoor furniture, décor, lighting, and holiday accents that fit their style and space.
- Deliver a luxury-level experience that builds trust, repeat business, and client referrals.
- Maintain long-term relationships with customers by offering seasonal refreshes and design updates throughout the year.
Design & Seasonal Styling
- Collaborate w Essentials team leads to build holiday décor, wreaths, garlands, tablescapes, and lighting displays that reflect high-end taste and creativity.
- Create and present design plans for patios, porches, garden spaces, and entryways.
- Design and assemble seasonal planters (spring blooms, fall harvest, winter greenery).
- Advise on color coordination, scale, and materials to create cohesive seasonal looks.
- Provide in-store styling assistance or on-site design consultations for clients seeking a personalized touch.
- Help coordinate and execute holiday open houses, wreath showcases, and seasonal shopping events.
- Ensure the showroom reflects the store’s brand identity: polished, timeless, and inviting.
- Work closely with the Store Manager and Marketing Team to plan seasonal promotions and design workshops.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, upbeat personality, and team-first attitude.
- Available to work weekends and extended hours during peak holiday seasons.
- Proven experience in retail sales, home décor, garden design, or holiday decorating.
- Demonstrated skill in seasonal styling and Christmas décor.
- Excellent visual and spatial sense — able to design both small vignettes and large displays.
- Knowledge of premium brands, materials, and current design trends.
- Ability to sketch or use digital design tools (Canva, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus but not required!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
