Position Overview
CRH Americas Materials is seeking a highly experienced and results driven VP, Business Transformation to lead and manage the execution of our multi-year enterprise-wide implementation. With the strategy defined and underway, this leader will serve the dual role of a program manager and change driver, ensuring the successful delivery of the ERP solution across the organization.
This role will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and serve as a member of the CRH AMAT Technology leadership team. The Vice President will be responsible for driving the integrated roadmap for delivery of the SAP ERP program for the Americas Materials. S/he will both provide directional oversight to and effectively collaborate with IT & business leaders on strategy, implementation, standards and opportunities for shared capabilities and economies of scale. He/ she will oversee project governance, timelines, resources, vendor relationships, and change management to ensure the program is executed.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

- Lead the technology components of a multi-year business ecosystem implementation program.
- Act as a primary liaison between leadership, divisions, and IT
- Serve as the executive program manager for the implementation. Lead and work with all other project managers assigned to the program.
- Work with Business, IT, and Consulting Partners workstream leads for all projects and sub-tracks across the program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead the technology strategy for the core ERP and Finance functions for Americas Materials.
- Lead organizational change efforts to drive adoption and minimize disruption.
- Stay well informed about leading edge and emerging technologies and translate those capabilities to the current and future business operating needs (i.e. RPA, AI, ML etc.).
- Ensure, on an ongoing basis, that current and planned technical architecture, investments and solutions are aligned with company business objectives.
- Reduce application and infrastructure complexity to improve service delivery.
- Support continued efforts around systems standardization.
- Leverage technology trends and advancements to propel the CRH AMAT Technology strategy and roadmap and deliver maximum value realization.
- Manage complex vendor relationships, including software vendors, support and implementation partners.
- Lead and manage projects and stakeholders through a high degree of complexity.
- Lead a collaborative and Agile software development approach that improves velocity, while maintaining a strong focus on both quality and scalability.
- Functional Groups reporting to role include: ERP and PMO
- Act as a thought leader and transformation agent across business and IT teams to bring AI, automation, and engineering innovation into the core of enterprise capabilities
- Establish sustainability plans to post go-live support and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- 15+ years pf progressive leadership experience in IT, ERP programs, or business transformation initiatives.
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering desired. Masters’ degree in Information Systems or MBA desired.
- Proven success leading delivery of complex, multi-year technology strategies with high degree of complexity and change management.
- Experience leveraging data, technology and wisdom to create a competitive edge and enable more informed decision making.
- In depth and complete knowledge of the design, management, and operation of ERP systems.
- Hands on, “roll-up-yours sleeves” individual who is open to the sharing of, and reaction to, ideas in an open forum.
- Proven experience leading digital enterprise transformation and implementing modern technologies such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Automation, etc. to enable growth and business operations.
- Proven experience building credibility and collaborating with senior business leaders to assess organizational challenges, institute prioritization, drive consistency, and deliver results.
Work Requirements

- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% in both U.S. and non-U.S. locations
