ROLE: Content and Community Coordinator

About Wally
We’re Wally, a fast-growing start-up building the future of dental care — giving the power back to patients and clinicians. We are uprooting the dental industry with innovative Swiss technology, unlimited cleanings and whitening, and affordable memberships. The result: No more getting drilled by a dentist again.
This matters because the majority of Americans want more cleanings, but don't go to the dentist annually (0.7 appointments on average) because of the "drill and fill" model that overshadows the patient experience. Our goal is to provide affordable, proactive care with more engagement (Wally members currently visit us 3X per year).
We have a growing member base of about 25,000 members in NYC across 5 locations with a goal to reach 100 locations over the next 18 months. To assist in this growth, we are creating a new role to expand our content and community strategy.
What will YOU be working on?
As our Content and Community Coordinator, you'll assist in the creation, planning, and scheduling of daily social content across Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms.
You will focus on:
- Content ideation: You have a great pulse on what's trending, and have a scrappy mentality towards inserting Wally into the conversation in the snap of a finger
- Content creation: You'll be boots on the ground creating UGC, including at any of our 5 NYC/NJ locations.
- Creator management: You'll coordinate capturing content with our existing 100+ NYC-based creators, and help foster relationships with new ones
- Community and event management: You will bring our community together digitally and IRL. You'll monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and tags across our social channels, and create a consistent, brand-aligned voice at each touchpoint. And even help plan and execute IRL events.
What We’re Looking For:
- 0-2 years work experience creating or producing content
- Demonstrated skills with social media marketing and a desire to grow into a marketing role at a fast-paced startup
- Willing to roll up your sleeves to get stuff done on the ground
- Growth and outcome-driven mindset
- Motivated to work in a fast-paced, hard-working environment where outcomes are rewarded
What We Offer:
- Health insurance, professional development budget
- Mentorship from a top tier start-up team - working closely with our Head of Growth and CEO.
- Opportunities for professional growth and development as we expand
How to Apply:
After submitting your application on LinkedIn, email your resume to adam@hiwally.co and include a quick note in your email about why you're excited to help us introduce the world to the future of dental care.
