We’re seeking an NX Post Processor Engineer to design, develop, and customize NX Post Processors and NX ISV kits to meet complex customer specifications. This position requires deep technical expertise in Post Builder, Post Configurator, and Machine Configurator, along with strong programming skills. The ideal candidate combines software proficiency with an understanding of manufacturing processes, CNC systems, and machine simulation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and test NX Post Processors and ISV kits for various machine tools and applications.
- Customize CSE drivers to ensure seamless simulation and accurate machine behavior within NX.
- Estimate project scope, collect required data, and execute development tasks to meet customer deliverables.
- Integrate and implement On-Machine Probing systems such as Blum and Renishaw touch probing cycles.
- Support continuous improvement of internal post-processing libraries, tools, and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working with Siemens NX Post Builder, Post Configurator, and Machine Configurator.
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Python, C++, and TCL.
- Hands-on experience with CNC post development, validation, and manufacturing simulation.
- Working knowledge of NX Manufacturing and custom UDE creation and implementation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Windows-based systems and common productivity software.
- Experience with motion control systems, G-code generation, and industrial automation a plus.
