Plot Property Group is a high-performing real estate investment firm completing over 100 flips and wholesale deals per year across Las Vegas and Phoenix. We’re now entering our next phase: scaling into a data-driven, technology-powered organization that integrates real estate operations with intelligent automation.
We’re seeking a Growth Operations Software Engineer who can bridge the gap between business operations and technology — building internal tools, automating workflows, and developing dashboards that give our leadership team real-time visibility across acquisitions, projects, and sales.
This role blends software engineering, automation, and operational systems thinking. You’ll design and implement CRM systems, integrate phone communication platforms, and use AI and automation to streamline our day-to-day operations. You’ll work directly with the CEO and operations team to build the systems that will scale the company from 100 to 300+ deals per year.
Compensation:
$20 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities:
Systems Development & CRM Architecture
- Design, build, and maintain a centralized CRM that tracks agents, leads, and deals across multiple markets.
- Integrate external tools such as Follow Up Boss, Podio, Airtable, and Google Workspace into one unified system.
- Create internal APIs or databases to connect acquisitions, dispositions, and project management data.
Phone System Integration
- Develop or integrate a modern VoIP communication system (Twilio, OpenPhone, Aircall, etc.) that connects to the CRM.
- Enable call tracking, analytics, recordings, and performance metrics for both in-house and virtual team members.
Automation & AI Implementation
- Use automation tools (Make.com, Zapier, Google Apps Script) to streamline data entry, notifications, and reporting.
- Implement AI (OpenAI API, LangChain, or similar) to analyze data, generate summaries, and provide real-time insights.
- Build automations that score agents, evaluate leads, and update dashboards dynamically.
Data & Dashboard Development
- Create executive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Streamlit, or Looker Studio) to visualize key metrics like:
- Lead flow and close rate
- Agent performance scores
- Project and acquisition timelines
- ROI and market breakdowns
- Ensure dashboards update automatically with live data from internal systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the CEO and Operations Manager to identify bottlenecks and build scalable, data-backed solutions.
- Translate operational needs into technical requirements.
- Document workflows and create internal tools that make the team more efficient and autonomous.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack or backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience integrating APIs (Twilio, Airtable, Podio, Follow Up Boss, or similar).
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL / NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Make.com, Zapier, or Retool.
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio).
- Experience deploying or integrating VoIP / call tracking systems.
- Understanding of AI tools and APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, or similar frameworks).
Preferred Skills
- Previous work experience with real estate or construction-related software (CRMs, project tracking, etc.).
- Experience building dashboards and automations for business intelligence.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, founder-led startups or operationally heavy environments.
- Business mindset and strong bias toward action — “build, test, improve.”
