About The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and adaptable Recruiting & People Specialist to join our growing People team. This person will be primarily focused on full-cycle recruiting - sourcing, interviewing, and closing exceptional talent across the U.S. - while also supporting People Operations projects during slower hiring cycles.
You’ll help shape the candidate experience, strengthen our employer brand, and build scalable recruiting processes as we grow from ~55 to 150+ team members by 2026. When hiring slows, you’ll jump in on People projects like onboarding, engagement, HR systems, and process improvements.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who loves startups, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants hands-on exposure to both Recruiting and HR while growing into a well-rounded People professional.
What You’ll Do:
Recruiting (~70%)
- Manage the full recruiting cycle for roles across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and G&A
- Source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, communities, and creative outreach
- Partner with hiring managers to craft clear job descriptions and effective interview processes
- Schedule and coordinate interviews while ensuring a seamless, positive candidate experience
- Maintain data accuracy in our ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, or similar)
- Track key recruiting metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, etc.)
- Support employer branding and recruiting content initiatives.
People Operations (~30%)
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and departures
- Help maintain accurate employee records in HR systems
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and events
- Contribute to People team projects such as policy documentation, culture-building efforts, and HR process improvements
- Partner with the Head of People on special projects related to benefits, compensation, or performance programs
What You Bring:
- 1–3 years of experience in Recruiting, People Operations, or a related HR field (in-house or agency)
- Experience managing the full candidate lifecycle - sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication - you can craft great outreach messages and communicate clearly across teams
- Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn. You don’t wait to be told what to do; you find ways to add value
- Interest in startups, growth environments, and building People processes from the ground up
- Familiarity with tools like Ashby, Lever, Rippling, Justworks or similar systems is a plus
